Rosewood Essential Oil has a very pleasing, warm, and woodsy aroma that is widely used in aromatherapy. It is extracted form the trunk of the rosewood tree, also known as the Brazilian Evergreen Tree, through steam distillation. Some use the oil as an antidepressant as it is believed that the scent of Rosewood can have a soothing effect on the mind.
Pairs well with Virginian Cedarwood, Italian Bergamot, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Neroli, Patchouli, Rosemary, Sandalwood, and Vetiver.
